Course Development & Community Manager

I’m hiring a Course Development & Community Manager to help develop my content into highly actionable and transformational programs that get people results.

This role is perfect for you if…

  • You’re energized by connecting people to each other and creating shared experiences (are you the person who’s always planning activities or scheduling brunch for all of your friends?).
  • You’re passionate about personal development and excited to execute a set of proven strategies for building a strong and vibrant community.
  • You have extensive experience in online adult learning and/or instructional design, and geek out over the psychology of behavioral change.

This position is focused on creating entertaining and transformational coursework from a robust set of existing content and learning and applying the latest techniques to grow a thriving community.

Our most ideal candidate will have 3 years minimum experience in instructional design for adult learning via online course & community platforms and at least some background in sales, event planning, digital marketing, or copywriting.

Strongest candidates will be able to demonstrate strong completion and retention rates as a result of their previous program design work.

This is a full-time position.

Who Are We?

Mark Manson is the three-time #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck and others. He has one of the top personal development podcasts in the world and over seven million followers worldwide. He specializes in no-nonsense personal development and self-help advice based on psychological research, clinical studies, and existentialist philosophy.

Our team is semi-remote with about half of the team in the Los Angeles area and the rest spread throughout the world. We’re fun, laid-back, and hard-working. We’re passionate about pushing the limits of this industry and finding new ways to help people around the world.

We value integrity, utility, and creating long-term value in an industry that is famous for its lack of all three.

You will be working full-time with a small team to develop a suite of products that are unlike anything that exists in the industry at the moment. It will require your expertise and intellect but also your creativity and willingness to take risks. If you are the type of person who enjoys pushing the limits of what’s possible, then this position is for you.
